Would be better shot out of a bolt action....hyper velocity stuff is harder on recoil buffers, springs, and guide rods. Probably won't kill a semi, but its like shooting +P or +P+ ammo out of a pistol. Just quicker wear. sometimes you will have stovepipe?failure to feed or eject issues also because the spring might not be heavy enough to handle increased recoil

Exactly, I mostly shoot my hyper velocity .22 lr in my Savage MKII bolt action and S&W 617 revolver. It is okay to use in limited amounts for hunting with a semi auto, and with 10/22s you can get recoil buffers that will lesson the wear on the action.

I think you are missing something here. I think you need to take into account both velocity and weight. A 32 grain bullet shooting 1400 fs is gonna have less energy than a 40 grain bullet shooting 1400 fs.

Damn Aguila is coming through and really cranking out ammo!!

Hopefully all the Aguila that is flooding the market will ease demand for when the Golden Bullets and Mini Mags come in stock...
