CCI 22LR at Walmart

Walmart in Clairmont Mesa has about 30 boxes of CCI Standard Velocity 22LR on the shelf. $3.47/bx of 50. They close at 11 pm but open at 6 am tomorrow. 3 box per person limit as usual.

Winchester Super-X red 100 round boxes still in stock at Gander. No mention of limit, that I see at a glance, but I think someone said limit 10?

At $9.99/box (10 cents/round) plus shipping, though, I'll pass this round. I'd probably have jumped on it if I hadn't already ordered so much Aguila yesterday.

I do notice that in stock stuff doesn't show up on the "rimfire" page of the ammunition section on the webpages. The only reason I even saw the Am Eagle was the little "others also viewed" blocks at the bottom of actual product pages. I tried finding it by search, but there was no item found. Midway shows their whole product line in stock or not, and you can refine from there. Frustrating.....

Walmart in Murrieta has several boxes of Federal 22LR 550 Value Packs on the shelf. I bought one for $23.97. The also have many CCI Quiet 50 round boxes.

A local walmart is the way to go if they have stock. Seems like its the only place where you can get 22 for under .05/round.

That's obvious...IF it is in stock. Not everybody has luck finding .22 in my area, and finding some requires showing up every morning to wait in line, with no guarantees a shipment even arrived. If your situation is different where anyone can now walk into a Wal-Mart and easily find ammunition, you are definitely envied.

I have several Buckets of GBs from Gander, priced .053 cents SHIPPED and being delivered today. I didn't leave the comfort of my office, and only had to wait for stock to show up online (not taking a gamble at the local Wal-Mart). I had to be quick to buy and diligent to in my search, but it finally paid off.
