Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Got excited when I saw Add to cart, only to get the out of stock error on the next page. I was in disbelief, so I tried it again and again and again......

This is just like the beginning of the ammo buy-up. Midway had the Buckets and GBs sell out in minutes, just like all the ammo at Cabelas. It's far from over folks.Comment

While I missed this opportunity and some others, I have over 6000 rounds of .22lr in about a months time. Getting cheaper ammo is doable. I can get all of the expensive ammo I want, but the secret is I don't want any. lol
The only reason why I am accumulating is if the ammo bill passes, and I won't be able to buy ammo at cheaper prices anymore. All of my LGS's are more expensive than what I can get from Cabelas or gander Mountain.Calguns Contributor

True and if the current bill on ammo here becomes law then companies like Walmart will cease to carry ammo. They will likely not want to deal with the FFL license and reporting requirements so we will have to go to the local gunshops to get ammo, will be much more expensive.Comment

Go buy a M1 Garand and some .30-06 while you're at it.
The lead times on .22 are long right now but at least you can get a decent price locked in and the stupid ammo restrictions won't take place overnight (they keep changing the date but they've realized it'll take a while to make regulations, open a window for businesses to get licenses, etc.)Comment

Is that CMP ammo going to function semi autos well? Like 10/22, Savage m87A, Nylon 66's and Ruger MkI's and Buckmark pistols? It seems lower velocity then what I've been shooting in the aforementioned guns which I've shot stuff that is 1230 -1280 FPS. I think the CMP ammo is rated below 1200fps or is it.

They have a higher (1200) and a lower (1135) velocity option. My 10/22 LOVES their higher velocity option (which is more expensive but also has a much shorter waiting list). Haven't tried the lower velocity one yet but have some on order.
Even the 1135 should work fine. Match ammo (around 1050) also works great in my 10/22 (although it never hurts to add some lube first). The ones that don't cycle are more like CCI Quiet which is around 700 or something crazy like that.Comment
