I've ordered so much ch!t from gander in the last few days, my Cabela's card had a hold on it when I tried to use it at Walmart this morning.

I use my Cabela's card too.

It does add up. A fun game is to add up what you spent and figure which cool gun from your list you could have bought. Most peoples .22 stockpiles around here probably go into M1A territory as far as dollars invested (or they soon will)

No freaking kidding, I have spent $1200 in the past two months on .22 lr ammo. I just really want to have enough ammo that I won't have to worry about the legislation going through.

Now hopefully Midway or Cabelas list some ammo today!

Bah!!! youre taking all the fun out of buying 22lr!!! I don't have a total for it all yet but rough estimate is I could have gotten a another Glock and a mid range AR with all the 22lr purchases I've made in the last few months. BUT with all this 22lr for my next purchases, I'm probably going to just buy the Ruger American Rimfire and a 22 lr pistol instead to make me feel better (plus they're cheaper and i could just use the money i save on those to buy more 22lr).

As much as I hate SB 53. If it passes, you can still buy ammo.

Look at it this way... if you had blown all that cash on a pretty new gun instead of .22lr, while it's true you could be sitting in your living room fondling it, you still would have needed to then proceed to spend a LOT more on ammo (assuming you could find it, hopefully at a good price) to feed said new toy. Now, instead, you can hit the range and start shooting some of that .22lr ammo!

If SB 53 passes I will not be buying another round of ammo in this state ever again, period. I am not buying a ammo permit.
