Yeah don't order from CODE3... a number of forum members have posted about them. I emailed them from the website a few months ago... the reply basically said "We don't have any stock for new orders, we don't have any hope of getting any stock, and we don't update anything... etc..." If I can find the reply I will post.
Try emailing them if you are interested. See what they have to say now about stock levels. Just don't order first and ask questions later with these guys.
In the mean-time, these seem to be in stock still or again... order three and you will probably get all three... there's your bucket (or bucket plus - 1575) @ .055 which is about on par with Gander if I remember right.
Now if Cabela's gets the bucket back they sell them for about .046 per round delivered which is a deal hard to beat as far as GB's.

Perhaps this is what you were told? Its their disclaimer and its right on the page in red. Does seem pretty unprofessionally written?

Because we are dealing with so many orders a day, we are unable to check ammunition availability prior to ordering. Please check our FAQ for additional ammo information.Comment

Yeah I have seen the disclaimer, so feel free to contact them to see if things have changed. What I recall hearing from the reply was that they took boatloads of backorders that a trickle of shipments won't cover... incoming is earmarked for backorders from waay back when. You probably do not want to order from us unless you don't need your ammo this year, but we might charge you for it today.

The picture of the bucket on the Code 3 Tactical web page does not look like the current buckets. Anybody have a guess how old that picture is?

The reply was even more professional than the disclaimer on the site, unfortunately it didn't make me confident to ever order from them - I don't need a place in line when there are cases in stock every week, so I passed and took them off the list. She gave me lots of details about the ammo shortage and blamed it on the hoarders... didn't say if she prefers ham or chicken sandos though.

"I'm sorry but that ammunition is still out of stock and at this point we do not have any eta available from any of our distributors or manufacturers.
Since the ammunition shortage started in early December it has continued to progress with many customers stockpiling ammunition which has been the greatest contributor to the nationwide shortage. All the manufacturers are running 24 hours a day near 7 days a week, but they are overwhelmed with orders and do not have the current resources to immediately increase production. Some are adding new factories, such as Remington who announced a new factory, however it will not be completed until the end of 2014.
We recently spoke to a sales rep from Federal ammunition who reminded us we are in the middle of the worst ammunition shortage in recent history. Ammunition has been shipping from manufacturers, but as reported in a recent news article, manufacturers are reporting they have literally hundreds of millions of dollars of orders waiting to fill. We are somewhere in that mix. When we call or email for updates we are told a variety of answers but the bottomline is they are not sure when we’ll get enough ammo in stock to fill your order. As a result there are no updates, other than it’s still on order with the manufacturer.
If you want to wait it out, your ammunition will ship the very day it comes in stock. If you are in urgent need of ammunition we suggest checking with local retailers in your area or businesses such as Walmart that do not allow customers to pre-order or order ammunition in bulk. Find out when their shipment is coming in and get there right away to make the purchase when you can!
If you’d rather cancel at any time, let us know. There are no cancellation fees or restocking fees, so canceling is never a problem. Another suggestion for customers who have been waiting for an extended period is let us know to call you when the ammunition comes in stock. If at that time you found it elsewhere, let us know and we will cancel your order--no problem. Or if you haven’t found some or you need more then we will immediately ship it out. I just hate seeing people giving up their place in line if they’ve been waiting for so long.
I wish I had more encouraging news for you. On our end we are ordering from multiple places hoping one is getting ammunition out faster. We are in frequent contact searching for additional information, but unfortunately getting a valid ship date from the manufacturers is just as difficult as getting the shipment.
We have been receiving some ammunition in stock and have been told we should be receiving more shipments of greater quantity in the near future. "Comment

Hey do you guys usually have to sign for it when your ammo is delivered, or will they leave it outside if I am not home?
