I buy all my ammo online. I just bought 1500rds of 9mm from Freedom, with
Their free shipping for 22cts a RD.

My LGS has hade fed and Mini Mags in stock for 6 weeks now. MMs $13/100 fed blue box $53/525. They only limit 1 525 or 2 100MM, but they are staying in stock. This is vastly improving here in Northern Indiana. This is a big LGS with 20-80 people in there whenever I go. They are open 7 days a week. I have dumped my Remington and Winchester rds, and am restocking with CCI @ $.12 cents a round or less. Just sayin. BiggB

9mm is still spotty here in MN, but I find enough to keep me stocked. Walmart had Federal 100pks yesterday. $26.77 or something like that. I only bought 1, and didn't really even need that. Reasonably priced 223 is available by the pallet load now.

I've been dumping my Remington and Winchester rounds, too . . . down range. It's good practice, and shooting ammo at targets is a lot of fun, too.

At the last gun show in Sacto there were a couple of guys selling bricks for $80 to $85. Big signs that read "No Limit", I hope they too it all back home with them. I'm not finding the big retailers marking up though, I found Stingers for $6 a box at Sportsman's a couple of weeks ago. Limit of 3.

Do you guys think at any point in time .22 prices will return to around $.04 a round?

At the local Walmart three employees were fired for taking bribes.
The guy had given a fake name and has not been identified,

but it has been one person buying all the 22 from one Walmart for the last 6 months. The employees would hold and hide it in the back and say they are out. The guy would come, give the employees 100$ each and come back next week.

That does not surprise me. I haven't seen a single round of .22 lr in my local Big 5 since Nov 2013, I suspect similar BS is going on there too.

Shot a box of M22s through my new M&P22 with minimum failures, I'm a believer again in M22s.

YOU CAN GET CLOSE TO THAT NOW --got 525 Brick of Federal copper tops for 23.99 and a brick of Blazers for 27.99 last week at Cabela's but had to pay $5 in shipping on each --- So if they can sell in for that, there is no reason the prices are what they are at other stores also got 8 boxes of CCI mini mags 100 round in each from Gander Mountain at 7.99 each with free shipping. Last week was a great week for me. It seems like things are just starting to get back --I think in a month or two it will be much easier. In Jan and Feb I could not find anything except waiting in line in front of Dick's on Truck days and would get some about every 2 weeks

Prices are going to go up about 20% because of inflation, about $2 per $10, so a $20 box of ammo will cost $24.

But we have been buying them for 4-6 cents, no reason to pay even 7 cents a round. I have not paid over 0.058 per round and when I figure them all together it is only a little over .05.

This is true. Too bad wages don't keep up with inflation! Thanks, Reagan.
