I hooked up a guy and his kids with some zero profit 22lr yesterday at the local range. The dad only had a little bit to shoot and said he paid $100 for that brick of 500! Yikes!
His kids were ecstatic.

Ive had people come up and ask me where im buyin. 22 cause im just shooting it like crazy.

Alot of people out there ration what they got because they cant get it. Were very fortuate guys.

I too have given. 22 away to young shooters.

edit: it amazing though how ive tried to help some folks and they look at you like your crazy. Go figure

I know he was grateful. That is why I buy it, is for my kids to shoot. My son and daughter jump for joy everytime that I get a brick from the big C or gander, because they know that its an afternoon of shooting fun for them.

I know the feeling. My wife isn't into it like me and the kids. I have had both my children shooting since they could pull the trigger (Safely of course). We have cut back over the past year or so, because my original stash of 22lr had depleted pretty much down to a few bricks.

Now that we are starting to get some ammo in again, we are back to a couple times a week and they are loving every minute of it.

Never could add it to the cart after 30 minutes worth of attempts. I did the same as cmichini and just ended up adding multiple entries on my WL. Hopefully that will yield better success whenever they reappear sometime in the future.

It is a little frustrating watching other Calgunners securing the ammo from C and ending up with empty set. One 22LR PER 2100 W/DRY would cure everything!

I guess ill just wait till this ,22 panic is over, and stroll in Wal Mart around noon and pick it up. There is no way im going to spend twice as much as it should be just out of pure principle. And will no longer try to do business with companies that sell it for 2-3 times the price it should be either

Id get more if it was at the old price. Ive got enough that I dont need to jump on every brick. Thats the same for many others also, it will eventually help the .22 shortage. Once people start passing on .22 you know its only a matter of time.
Cant wait till I can just walk into my local store and buy what I want.

Business is very slow lately for the Gunbot Gougers. As in non existent. They are realizing their ship has sailed, and they will start unloading their dead weight at cost, because no one will pay a penny more. Combine their fire-sale fodder with the current full capacity factory output, and it's the perfect storm for cheap, abundant ammo.

Relax peoples, the ammo equilibrium is upon us !

Now go shoot the snot out of your stash...
