If your '60 is being purchased at Turners check if they hold ammo for new firearms. I've heard from more than one person that some of the stores will set aside a couple of bricks if asked.

Thanks for the heads up. I will ask for a couple of bricks since I bought 3 Marlin Model 60's in the last three weeks. One for me and two for the boys.

There might be some hope for .22lr tomorrow if you want to travel north-east San Diego County. I stopped by the Big 5 Sporting goods store in Ramona, CA and the manager/sales guy told me that he is expecting the largest amount of .22lr that he has seen in two months coming in tomorrow. Since I have to work and can't be there at the opening, I thought I would pass this information along. Just don't tar and feather me if the deal drops through. You might want to call and confirm before you drive into the back country.

I did manage to buy another small brick of Federal Target ammo at P2K shooting range. (limit 1 per customer, 325 pack) for $23.79. It also looked like that they had the CCI 100packs there too. I now have 650 rounds of .22lr for me and my two boys. That may last 1 day or two max. I guess I need to keep looking for more.

I was there this morning, got a 555 Winchester pack for $35. They sold out in like 10 minutes btw.

I am happy to have helped someone, even if it isn't myself . I will keep searching since I cant get off work to buy ammo. Hopefully, Cabelas, Gander Mountain, Midway, will get some inventory. P2K has been pretty good about getting the 325 Federal bulk ammo so I pick up a box or 2 there.

Thanks for the heads up. I picked up a Winchester 555 pack at the RB Big 5. They had 4 525 Remington Golden Bullets bricks, 4 555 Winchester bricks, 1 Remington bucket of bullets 1400 brick and 1 Winchester M-22 1000 round brick. Should have got there earlier for the bigger bricks...

Nothing in rimfire when I was there. I even pulled a number and asked. I heard that sometimes have it behind the counter.
