What time of day is it best to check sellers for new stock?

For online .. Just a guess .. 4am PDT .. which would be 7am Eastern. I wake up too darn early .. It seems that it's the 22's that are lagging behind the other more common calibers in availability .. jmho

What time of day is it best to check sellers for new stock?

Not really a best time for any. I check here a lot and watch for product notifications thru e-mail. A lot of times it's being lucky and checking multiple times a day will pay off. Seems like a lot of stuff lasts up to an hour in stock now when before it only took around 10 minutes and it was all gone. A lot of good people here looking out for deals and I for one are thankful to all of them.

Shipping question

When Natchez and palmetto ship Ups do the boxes arrive stamped showing ammo is enclosed? Or just the name of shipper? Don't want to freak out my receptionist. And don't want to ship to my home where kids might get to it bf me. Thx.

Never ordered from Natchez, but Palmetto, Brownells, and Cabelas come in a plain brown box with a ORM-D sticker on them that says cartridges-small arms in small print. Sometimes its on the shipping label too. A lot of people don't really know/understand what that label means and it won't shock them.

MidwayUSA isn't as "discrete". It has Nitro Express and a bullet zinging across the box.

not sure how natchezss or palmetto are, but with cabelas its a bright yellow sticker, with midway its printed with the shipping label, so its not as noticeable.

i remember a while back i ordered 400rds of 223 PMC bronze from a website, and they shipped it in the PMC 1000rd box.

big fat letters on it saying "small arms ammunition" "1000 centerfire rifle cartridges" ".223 55gr fmj" etc etc. VERY descriptive of what was in the box

When one orders by the case, it ships with the original factory box and just a shipping label with your name on it. Everyone will know what it is. They also should all have the ORM-D sticker on it.

Yeah, I don't quite get all the "I'll pass" posts. As an example I'd be happy if nobody ever posted Remington again but there's no point in *****ing about it.

Gander mountain Has CCI Minimags 40gr CPRN 100ct boxes for 7.49 ea, with a 10 box limit per order.
Price for 10 with standard ground shipping is 83.49 with the $9.00 ammo "surcharge" Pretty much same price as locally with tax before the panic...

Good find. That's a little confusing about the shipping - they have a free shipping over $50 deal, but a $9 ammo surcharge. So for all intents and purposes it's $9 shipping.
