Hopefully I'll be able to play in this one.

Would I get extra credit for shooting 50yds iron sights at all?

Yay... a new month. Sorry I fell offline with the holiday madness to post my targets for Dec... not that it mattered... surfNshoot cleaned house in December!

Hope this month is less rainy so I can get outside and punch some quality holes in the paper!

                    Happy New Year everyone!

I have a Kimber US mod 82 and a CZ452V on order. No more half assed shooting for me.

Is that the Kimber single-shot .22 that the CMP sells? I'd be curious how it turns out... those look like a really nice deal for $600 plus shipping.

Yeah I ordered the "rusty" Kimber for 400.00 but from what I have seen there isnt much rust on it.

Back on line thanks to the magic of Wireless Broadband Internet. Couldn't believe it but I can't get landline phone service, cable tv or internet service here in Idyllwild. The wireless internet is faster than my old DSL service. Amazing stuff. Feel like I moved to Mars.::

Will be out shooting those targets next Monday, weather permitting.

                              First Jan 25yd Target

Shot today. Cold at the range and wind around 5-8mph but bright sunlight so a pretty good day to shoot. Target shot with CZ UltraLux and Federal AutoMatch ammo. Spent some time at first zeroing the new sights. Score is 27 or 28. I included a close up for evaluation of the score. I report, you decide.

I will probably regret saying this but I think I see a 30 in my future on this target.

Well got too quick with the delete key in PhotoBucket and erased the target that I shot on Monday. No big deal as I went today and did better. Not the greatest day to shoot, the wind was gusting 5-10mph. Didn't effect the 25 yd shooting but different story @ 50 yds. At 50 every time I would compensate for the wind it seemed the wind died as soon as I pulled the trigger. Still not too bad. Shot with the Savage BTVS and Wolf Mt. Here is the 50 yd target. Score 129.

Two 25 yd targets both shot with the CZ and Federal Automatch. First target score was 28, second was 29. Included close ups of each.

Anyone know the secret to posting the pictures so they are bigger. I am taking them with a 4 megapixel camera and resize them to 1024 x 860. Even when I post pics without resizing they still appear smallish. The pics of the whole target is difficult to see the bullet holes.
