Anyone else LIKE Remington Golden Bullets?

The 2 brands my P22 loves are CCI mini mags and RGB. I was at the range the other day and my friend had his P22 with him. He was getting jams with Winchester Wildcat and American Eagle, he switched over to my bulk pack of RGB and all his jamming problems went away. He was quite impressed.

I hate it just because of how dirty it makes my rifles. I won't run it in anything but my revolver. Haven't bought any in years just shooting what I have left. Down to 2500 rounds of it.

I had been scientific about my last outting with my ar22. The most accurate round was the Remington Golden bullet, with some fliers. The dang things don't like going off 100%, and you have to cycle through a few duds, more than normal. Function good till it gets dirty, 300 rounds at least.

If this had a better primer, I would stock up on it even more.

How do you get "most accurate" "with some fliers"? this stuff is crap! Remington knows it and still sends out crap! in your own reserch you point to priming errors , why hasnt Remington caught this? because its the cheapest crap out there. Its a shame that a good name like Remington has let this go so far. DR

They've always worked for me. and I've shot all bulk I can get get my hands on. Don't know what people are complaining about. Cleaner than Winchester, as accurate as federal bulk. I've seen more wobbly bullets and crap primers in Winchester than Remington. 22 guns have always been picky, just because your guns doesn't like round doesn't mean the round is crap, its just your guns being a Paris Hilton.

They are dirty, inconsistent, you can listen to the report of each round fired and hear the difference. Great for minute of can shooting.

This goes for the bulk federal and Winchester stuff as well. Especially in higher elevation.
Winchester is even more dirty leaving sand like residue all over trigger groups. And just pick one out of the box and wiggle the bullet. And lets not kid our selves. Its bulk ammo, its not match grade.

I find the Remington Golden Bullet 550 rounds pack are way better than the Federal 550 for my Beretta Bobcat. With the RGB, I think they pack more powder in the casing thus cycle through the Bobcat fairly well and I could feel more "oomph".

RGB will work on my bolt rifles, revolver and Marlin 795 but not on my other semi rifles and semi pistol.

Consistent accuracy with Marlin 25 so I bought a whole bunch just for this rifle.

RGB is the only ammo that consistently works in my Advantage Arms .22 Glock Conversion.

Nope! CCI Mini Mags all the way for Me. In a pinch Winchester Super Speed 1300 fps.

In my semi auto CMMG .22lr conversion upper, I had a round go off that wasn't fully chambered. The case blew out at the base, and was LOUD. But that damn gun just needed to be cycled and it kept on chugging along, no worse for wear.

We really have not had favorable results using the Golden Bullets. For pretty much the same cost you can buy a box of Federals which cycle through everythings quite a bit better. Lots of jams, duds, and we even had one or two Rems that exploded when they did not feed into the battery and detonated just from the bolt striking it. These are just my opinions, but I know many people have similar experiences.

What really sucks is that Remington bought out Barnes bullets last year! Right now, Speer has THE BEST all copper HP's for hunting, but I was told by Turner's management that Remington also bought them too. I sent an email to Speer today to ascertain if that rumor is true or false. Stay tuned! Barnes are great copper bullets as well, but I don't believe they even make a .22 rimfire bullet.

i may be wrong about this but i "Think" i heard/read somewhere someone say that Georg Soros is buying up the gun industry so he can shut it down...

anyway...i find the GB works OK for most of my bolt guns...not the most accurate, though. i find rem subsonics and federal auto match to be the most accurate from my 10/22 and 22lr AR
