I had been scientific about my last outting with my ar22. The most accurate round was the Remington Golden bullet, with some fliers. The dang things don't like going off 100%, and you have to cycle through a few duds, more than normal. Function good till it gets dirty, 300 rounds at least.
I took it home, and pulled the bullets and powder from a Remington GB, and a Federal 555, loaded each primer only brass, and fired. The federal had a distinct pop, while the GB had almost a hiss.
On top of that, I think the Gold bullet has a larger diameter projectile or case which means a tighter fit and more consistency, at the expense of reliability while dirty. When GB stops working reliably, I can skate by a bit longer with some lube and a different bulk pack. I will check the measurements.
If this had a better primer, I would stock up on it even more.
