Hmmm... No issues yet with my 22/45 after 200+ rnds but maybe I'm lucky.. We'll see after I finish the box (my 1st bulk box of .22 I got a week ago at Big5)

The only case head separations I've experienced was with RGB. I wasn't shooting, but my buddy was using his Model 29A Savage. I helped get the broken thing out though. Annoying.

I've yet to try the Fed Bulk (I really want to), but I stick with CCI Blazer bulk as my main ammo. I lost count of how many of those bullets I've bought, but out of a 1000+, I've only had one squib. No other complaints, and it seems decently accurate out of my 452.

Haven't had to mush success with them. None of my semi autos cycle with them correctly, Buckmark, Mk III or high standard pistols or 10/22 rifle. Work ok however in my new single six. I will never buy them again, just to many problems. CCI or Federal bulk at Walmart just seem to work without any problems.

There is so much more reliable, cleaner ammo out there at the same price, why bother. Blazers, AutoMatch, American Eagle.......

OP: My Mossberg 702 will eat anything i put in it. I've even fired an entire mag of rounds that failed to fire in my buddies rifle (not the smartest idea, i know...), and every one of those rounds was a RGB. They aren't the most accurate rounds, but for plinking they are just fine since most of the time i just Rambo it and spray rounds at anything and everything in my field of view. that's the beauty of .22lr, it's so cheap you don't really have to care!!!

The cheapest, most accurate rounds I've shot so far are the Federal Auto Match. But if i were going to hunt that "Trophy Squirrel", I'd have some CCI mini mags with me because they are the most accurate .22lr i've used so far, and i'm not gonna miss a Trophy.....

No, I don't like them. I've had no luck with Remington Golden Bullets. Failure to fire. Failure to feed. You name it - I've experienced it with this ammo. Used in M&P 15-22 as well as 10/22 and 22/45.

So I either need to buy a revolver to eat thru the 3 bricks I have or just continue to use them as props in photo shoots when I need a pile of bullets.

In the future I won't buy large quantities of .22 when on sale without first knowing that the brand in question works in my guns.

i like them they seem to work well i get probably 5 duds every 100 as for accuracy i'm more concerned with autoloading function

my stoeger luger feeds and fires them more reliably than federal bulk

A couple years ago I bought a brick that sat around for a while. Finally used it a month or two ago and it worked great. One dud, but that's it.

So, I bought a couple value packs from Big5... and it's HORRIBLE. I'd guess the same 5 duds per 100 as bohoki. With other cheap ammo I've been used to 1 per 500 if that. All of this through a Ruger MkIII. Every time it fired it cycled fine, but in the first 2 mags I had two "clicks" per mag - and a bunch later, too.

as well as the CCI MiniMags.

I can also shoot RGBs without issues with my 10/22.

Absolutely hate Rem golden bullet, out of 300 rounds I shot at the range a few weeks back I had more than 10 failures. Going shooting tomorrow, trying Remington thunderbolt, CCI mini-mags and Federal Lightning. Hoping the gun likes either the Lightning or the Thunderbolt because they were both under $2 per 50 round box at wally world vs the mini-mags at $7 for 100 rds. granted they would all be cheaper if bought in bulk.

I took it home, and pulled the bullets and powder from a Remington GB, and a Federal 555, loaded each primer only brass, and fired. The federal had a distinct pop, while the GB had almost a hiss.

On top of that, I think the Gold bullet has a larger diameter projectile or case which means a tighter fit and more consistency, at the expense of reliability while dirty. When GB stops working reliably, I can skate by a bit longer with some lube and a different bulk pack. I will check the measurements.

If this had a better primer, I would stock up on it even more.
I used to hate those things. I'd get anywhere from 3-8 FTF PER MAG with them. I did, however, figure out a use for them. I'd load mags with an even mix of Rems and Federals (which feed fine) and then run standard drills with an emphasis on clearing malfunctions! It actually turned out to be great training.

Generally Remington has been a good bullet for me to shoot. I had heard long ago that Remington is now produced by Eley of England so reliability should be better. My buddy like Federal and has sworn to it's reliable ignition. Personally my best is CCI brand.

Remington I've found to be a very clean shooting ammo and after every secession the bore has been very clean. The other brands mentioned have been more dirty.

Just got back from shooting a few hours ago, burned off the last 200 rounds of my golden bullets. Also shot 100 rounds of CCI mini mags and 100 rounds of federal lightning. The golden bullet crap was all over the place. I was getting groups under an inch at 25 yards after zeroing my scope with the mini mags, and about the same with the federal lighting rounds, the rem golden bullets would not group, with my sight on the center of the target one round would end up 2 inches to the left, the next would be 3 inches to the bottom right and so on, obviously not the gun since its grouping well with "good" ammunition, heck even the remington thunderbolt was getting about the same results as the CCIs and Federals, the golden bullet ammunition is utter crap.

I really didn't like the 'goldies.' Last two boxes I bought, about 20-25% were failures.

                              My favorite bulk: Blazers
My favorite 'accurate': CCI standard velocities
My favorite 'match': still workin' on that.

I just finished off my RGB 525 pack and did not have any FTF, FTE but when I switched to Federal 550 Wally World packs & CCI mini mags the grouping got tighter... (plus the RGB were way more dirty)

So no.. I won't be getting RGB anytime soon... Now waiting for the UPS guy on my ammo.. Drat!
