you can get a 11mm scope ring, or a 11mm to Weaver Adapter
The best option is the DIP scope base,IMO it is by far the best scope base for 795, although it is little expensive http://www.diproductsinc.com/Detail....64829&CAT=3603

!!!update!!!
Good for only 8/18 at Bass Pro Shop. They have a $20 gift card with purchase on any Marlin rifle. So basically $150 - $20 gift card -$25 Marlin mail in rebate = $105.
Manteca is the nearest location to me (by 45 minutes from work).

I reccomend you get a can of white out if you plan on using the stock sights.
The front bead just does not work well for me. I am planning on trying the Tech Sights when I get around to ordering them.Leave a comment:

Remove the bolt; clean action, bolt and bore with any basic gun solvent and very lightly lube all surfaces with any basic gun oil. I use graphite on my bolt/receiver surfaces. That is just my personal choice.
If you don't have something like a Bore Snake or Otis cleaning cable, or if you prefer a solid cleaning rod kit, be sure to use a bore guide.
When reassembling, don't over tighten the forearm screw I have an old model and it improved the accuracy by not making it tight. I reassemble mine like I do a MI Carbine and give a good "Smack!" on the butt plate with my hand, before fully tightening up the Buttstock screw.
The above is simply what works for me.Leave a comment:

I also have the "spring control" problem, took me 10 min to put the hammer spring and guide rod spring back to the right place, cant they make the guide rod little longer?!Last edited by fishkenstein; 08-15-2011, 11:19 AM.Leave a comment:

I did install the hammer spring today..Chaos was correct (as expected
) It did stiffen up the trigger some.
As they say....easy come, easy go.

I just had to drift the windage and move the ramp 1 notch.
