Ok I'm gonna send mine out tomorrow. Hopefully everything goes smoothly for both of us.

I just sent in the "proof of purchase"" sticker, recipt, and that printed page.

Ok cool. Ya sucks we have to mail the receipt, I guess I'll just make a copy of it. Also do we send that whole paper on the back of the manual or just the sticker that says proof of purchase?

Sorry I'm very new to all this so when you say I should get an "one-piece mount", is that supposed to replace a certain part of the gun? Do you have a link to this?

ahhh... thanks for the link... heheh... fill that out, print the page, and tape your proof of purchase to it. You also have to include your receipt when you mail it out.

call-in - It would mount but like all dove tail mounts on the 795 it would walk. Buy a one-piece mount.

I think that's for warranty registration. Have fun shooting, only took mine out once so far, and it shoots great!

So i picked up my 795 yesterday, and I was wondering if there is supposed to be a specific rebate form in the box, or do I just need the UPC code on the back of the manual?

I posted this on the optics forum but maybe I'll get better traction here.

Does anyone know if this (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002E6RATW) would mount to the 795? First time buying optics so not sure all this works.

Just picked up my 795 at Big 5. The gale messed up and rang it up for $139 because she thought that was the sale price with instant rebate. She got talked to by her manager when i was picking it up... So now it only cost me $115 for the rifle.

Sports Authority has them for $149.99 before the rebate. That's their regular price too.
