All reports are that they majorly suck

Went to Sportman's Warehouse in Provo and bought the Shooter's Ridge 25 round magazine for the Marlin 795. It was $19.99. Took it home and looked it over, then loaded it with 25 rounds of Federal Champion 525 Value Pack copper plated hollow point ammo. This morning I went to the...

I was at Sportsmans Warehouse the other day and noticed High Capacity magazines for Marlin 70/795/ etc... The package was marked "Made in USA" and the brand name on front was "Champion". Turned it over and it had "Onalaska Operations" address listed. Anyone try these out yet? Oh yeah...

Well, I couldn't find any wire coat hangers in the house so I looked for alternatives. I found some stainles steel grilling skewers and stole one (my wife probably won't notice one is missing, lol). The skewers are the perfect width, has a lot more flexural strength and looks hell of a lot less ghetto. With one skewer I was able to make three loaders.

One thing I'm not too crazy about the design from rimfire central is it pushes the follower all the way down, this sometimes allows the cartridge to go down verticaly. It happened to me where the cartridge landed verticaly and rested horizontaly pointed backwards. This got me to where I like just pushing the plunger enough for one or two cartidges to go in, relieve pressure so that the top cartidge is aligned by the feed lips and repeat.

My friend bought the Butler Creek Baby Lula Universal Pistol Loader and it works great, one thing I'm not too crazy about is it's hard to load without some place to push the magazine on to (like a bench or beer gut).

I'll post pictures when I get home this evening.

Because you're doing it wrong. Look at the URL for the video, and only put in the haL435BNnsk stuff after the "=" between the tags.

i was able to fit my 795 into an M4 airsoft stock! its a really tight fit but it works. my only problem is figuring out how to mount the grip since it sits farther back. i used devcon steel putty to make a mold last night so hopefully tonight i have better luck trying to make this work.

the stock cost me $60 used. if this works then i can sure do this on a ACR, SCAR, Sig 556 stock

Just uploaded on youtube my proof of concept loader. Next step is to find a better material than the popsicle stick that I used. Tested it on the range today and it works better than I expected, shot 300 rnds today (Blazers) and it worked perfectly every time.

No offense but, you should really start a new thread if you are going to ask about every piece that you are going to put on your rifle.

Truglo is much more respected then NcStar

Has anyone on here used the NcStar products and are they any good? I bought a truglo red/green dot sight bit I found a NcStar one at walmart for $34.99 and I payed $49.99 for the truglo. The difference I found is that the truglo I bought is a dot only and the ncstar has 4 different reticles witch I think my son would like better since it would be like the ones he uses when he plays Call of Duty. If you guys think the truglo is better I might have to see if Dicks sporting goods can get the one with the different reticles and pay the difference.
