Wow you actually got approved for a refund above MSRP? Saw on another post someone getting rejected when they tried to include taxes on MSRP of their 6 yo unit, EOTech suggested they recalculate or provide a receipt.

I was approved with the taxes added on to mine too. I even specified in the comments that I purchased it originally for 499 plus tax. Got approved for the total which was around 540.

Man... this sucks... I really... really love my 512 and Im still contemplating keeping it... but this is really worrysome. How many of you are keeping your Eotechs?

Yes I did,, I couldn't even tell you what I paid and I didn't really want to send it back,, it has run flawless, , so I just pulled a number out of my ***, and it was excepted, , no receipt needed

Just out of curiosity how many of you sent back sights that were working fine with no issues? Don't get me wrong I'm all for getting a full refund on something you bought a few years ago if it's defective,but if it still works properly why would you return it. I have aimpoints,trijicons, and eotechs as well. I have never had any issues with the eotechs I own so I will be keeping mine. Just kinda wondering other opinion.

I had two of them and they both worked fine. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't sent them back. I sent mine back because there isn't any guarantee that they will continue to work fine. Why would you want to keep a sight that may fail when you need it the most. EOTech might not even be in business 6 months from now.

Finally, the company is a fraud. They knew about the problems and tried to cover them up, putting our service men & leo's in jeopardy. Also, you have to ask yourself what else they might be lying about or hiding. I don't want to have anything to do with them or their products.

They are working fine now because your sight or most of us are just using them for range use.

Submitted RMA form last Thursday, yesterday got approval for my MPO III for $1100. Will ship on Saturday.
I like the comment on the email-to save the space on shipping do not need to ship plastic box. I will keep that box, it is better then sight!
