About Feb of 1907, with 9,534 made that year.
Made from 1906 to 1957, chambered in .351 WSL, with a total of 58,733 made.
The 1907 is a WWI vet, France, UK, and Russia all had orders delivered. The French order had the rifles converted to select fire with 20rnd mags, re-designated the Model 1907/17. The 1st Aero Squadron in 1916, had 19 of them in aerial support of General Pershing as he went after Pancho Villa.

Just read the first post and I'm curious about my two Winchesters, both in 32-20 with octagon barrels.

I have a 73', serial 624196B that other sites date to 1907 that I'll be selling soon and a 92', serial: 792729 that comes up as shipped in 1915. Close?

Caliborn, Bert is going to want info on your rifle for a Model 65 survey. Email him at Win1885@msn.com , put Model 65 .218 Bee in the subject line, and tell him Trap sent you.
65's are rare enough, more so in .218. That makes for a lot of fakes made from Model 92's. Your rifle falls into the correct serial number range. There were also a lot of factory re-barrels done, and a lot of non factory re-barrels done.
On the top of the barrel, is there a proof mark of an Oval with a P, or WP?
Remove the forearm, on the bottom it should have 218B and a two digit date code too. Let me know what you find, and we'll go from there.

It has a wp on both barrel and receiver. Under the forearm is a letter B and 37 and a little triangle between the two. It also has a varmit master scope on it.

Need to correct myself, haven't had much sleep this week.
Model 92's are rare in .218 Bee. It was the more common chambering in the 65's, but there were less than 6000 made. Introduced in the 65's in 1937, and the .219 Zipper in the 94's same year.
WP in oval is a factory installed barrel, P in oval is a mail order barrel.
Bert will want the info on this one, and he'll need pics. Their serial numbers are within the 1892 numbers, but the polishing room records for 65's are incomplete. Bert has the records for about 1000 of them though. Email him, he can give you far more info than I can.
