What are you doing OldShooter, trying to corner the market on 52B's?
BTW, the 52C's have the better trigger.

The first was the one I shot in high school 63-66 (imagine a RIFLE club in high school?) and I picked up the second one (the older one) when I was shooting a lot of gallery/league matches. I have a scope on it and shot it in the optics league and used the other one for iron sights. Both still drive tacks! Paid $120 for the first one and $185 for the second. The model 70 ($225 in 1969) was my high-power NMC rifle until the Army have me a NM M14 and free ammo!

                      Sweet!
I was using the old Madis info that said 1925.

Thanks for the quick reply and the corrected information!

I only have the pre-64 data. # 3,000,000 was assembled in 1970, so my WAG is yours was made late in 1970 or early 1971.

Tom, what part of Idaho? I'm in Parma every summer for a week, and own a cattle ranch on the other side of the state in Malad City.
