I don't fully remember. The upper ran about $1K and the lower was $150. plus the $125. for the ACE stock and JP buffer. You can get a Bushmaster Carbon light weight that out weights my girl's rifle by a few ounces for under $1K complete. I should've went that route to save me the headache of finding and measuring light weight parts.
The recoil sucks on that thing even with the MGI adjustable gas tube, but it doesn't bother her. Maybe it's time for a Battle Comp. The cool thing is, the JP LMOS system cycles rounds REALLY fast........

Is that Apex tube straight? There is a much larger space above the barrel than below the barrel........ Is it the design?

So I finally finished my first build thanks to all the helpful members of Calguns.net. Thank you folks. So here she is...just what I wanted since I'm pretty small with bad shoulders. Nice and light. I haven't got the iron sights yet or my magnifier. It's a $100 Fakeotech but it works great in anything but broad daylight. Hoping a magnifyer will help in the sun.

So it's a:
JD Machine Tech upper w/lightweight handguard with detachable rails.(love it)
JD Machine Tech Lower w/blacked out JD logo and my coat of arms etched.
RRA Two Stage Match trigger + RRA LPK w/a grip I really like.(cheap)
Rainer Arms Thunder Bolt BCG (cheap)
Mako G-Shock stock w/cheek rest.
Mags w/ bullet button tool. (love 'em)
