Since I purchased a PA Upper with a .223 Wylde barrel from a friend and slapped it to a Diamondback lower, decided to build my first AR as inexpensive as possible with some help from a friend who also did the Cerakote. The result is the top rifle build. Both rifles are mag locked (top: ARMaglock Gen 4 w/Kingpin, bottom: Cross Armory mag lock w/Quickpins) to be CA complaint as I didn't want the fin grip.

Ok, my .223 (5.56mm) CA legal semi auto rifle... no bullet button or mag lock. Out to 150 yrds with iron sights a very serviceable weapon

Made some updates to my Noveske Recon Hunter.

- Changed out the NSR forend to an MLOK 15" version.
- Added a new scope Triicon Credo 1-6 SFP BDC Red CR624-C-2900015 (this model is definitely daylight bright, dare I say red dot bright unlike other Credo models).
- Added new scope mount Geissele SPR 30MM Extended mount with a Reptilia RMR top mount RMR adapter.

My first AR, although I had to swap the lower as the original, an Aero STS lower, was machined with worn tooling and was out of spec to where the gun would not run. I had that one set up as quasi-ambidextrous, and this one is fully ambidextrous. It's a build using parts (not counting compliance parts) from Geissele, ALG, Daniel Defense, Colt, LMT, LWRCI, Compass Lake Engineering, Arisaka, Aero Precision, Forward Control Designs, Battle Arms Development, Brownell's, Microbest, Arson Machine, and Magpul.





In its free State guise after placing 10th at Cola Warrior Heartland V in Nebraska using it and the pistol shown.
