    ^^^The MBUS is the wrong height for the gas block as well. They are meant to be mounted on forends only. Midwest Industries makes a nice affordable flip-up front sight for railed gas blocks, as do several other brands. I just mentioned them since the MBUS seems like and attempt to cut down on the cost (which is totally understandable).

    Just trying to be helpful, not critical.

      Same rifle as shown before, but with the newly acquired Leupold Mark AR 3-9x40. Stoked and can't wait to get it back out to the outdoor range.

        Ok, it's not Cali Legal or 922r compliant, but here it is.

        Swiss Arms Classic Green with Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T. Pictured with my G22 and LBV.

        Here's it with an STGW 57 bayonet.

        (oh, and sorry for the crappy pics)

              God, grant me the serenity

              The courage to change the things I can;

                              You're making me miss the rifle I was issued back in my military days. I loved that rifle. Definately not legal for civilians to own here in California. Not only was it select fire (full auto) but it was an SBR as well. So I can't even build a clone of it unless I want to leave the stock off and build it as an AR pistol.
