Ninja? no, it wasn't the Eotech and the magnifier that threw me off, it was the bi-pod and piston system on a 16 inch barrel that got me. In truth it looks like 90% of the AR's on this site. Ninja would be the tactical Ipod/Iphone attachment on the side rail at this point.

Using gun control to stop crime is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline!

LOL, bought a piston as I've read it operated better and required less cleaning. Don't know the difference and performance in regards to 16" piston to something shorter in barrel length. Bi-pod is used when I take the Wifey to shoot. Actually want to do a 24" bull barrel on this thing matched with a 6-16x Leupold mark ar. But I agree it looks like 90% of the rest of the AR's Ive seen on the thread which is why the Ninja comment threw me off.

They got the idea of making it piston driven from AKs. AKs have a 16 barrel as well, and that piston system is just as short as on your Carbine. The extended gas systems help out big time when your rifle is DI, but I am not so sure they do anything "extra" for you when they are piston driven, I don't have enough experience with them to know. So I don't get his point there. I think it is just the bipod that threw him, and given that your rifle is mostly used on the range it makes perfect sense to have it on there. You have some very high-end parts on your rifle. Words like NINJA should be saved for the CAA, Tapco, MAKO, and Chinese Airsoft Parts lovers...and even those parts have an appropriate time and place.
