As for the Magpul front end, it's super sturdy. One downside is I can't have the MVG as far back as I'd like it(by about an inch) Not a huge difference, but just not what I'm used to.

For a split second I thought I was looking at an M14, not a mini-14. That accu-strut combined with the paint job thru me.

which one? i see the following:

DD Omega
Larue
Magpul MOE
Standard M4 oval
And what looks to be a Knights Armament RAS installed on the rifle.

None of those require any gunsmithing to install.

The one on the rifle doesn't look like KAC to me, but I could be wrong. I would guess Midwest Industries or Troy. The KAC is pretty darn slim, while some of the others that work just like it are a little thicker. The one on the rifle looks like the thicker ones. But it could just be my eyes playing tricks on me.
