    Apparently Ruger suggests these:

    I'd go with a TLR-7

Tried one of these yesterday and loved it. I definitely see one in my very near future!

I may just pick up a TLR-7. I had been looking at them as a pistol WML, maybe I'll just get one and try it on my PCC. I have a PL-2 Valkyrie, but it won't fit, it hits that sling stud behind the rail. Curious if the TLR-7 will be short enough to miss that stud or not.

One of these threads had a pic of someone who installed a TLR-7

I have two on Glocks... I don't recall if I ever tried it on a PCC... saw a pic of it. Looked fine.

Very cool then. That may end up being a better option than the riser, though a lot more expensive haha.

Just a FYI - the 500 lumen rating on the TLR-7/8 Series lights is kinda BS. I purchased two TLR-8's intending to replace two 300 lumen TLR-2's. In comparing both, the TLR-7's had less throw due to the smaller, shallower focusing reflector and appeared less bright.

I called Streamlight and the Tech spoke to confirmed that because of the smaller design, the 7/8 series outputs significantly less Candela than the TLR-2. I was quite bummed because the smaller form factor is nice but I returned them for a refund as the downgraded performance was not acceptable to me.

I'm just going to carefully remove some material from the forend to make my TLR-2's work or buy one of the two accessory mount adapters previously mentioned.

TLR-7 is pretty damn bright, IMHO. I have a TLR-1 HL and a X300U... TLR-4, etc... they are all bright enough, but I can tell it is a big upgrade from a TLR-4... every light has a different focus and lense. I have 680 lumen flashlights that appear brighter than 900 lumen ones. Within the same brand if it is not appearing legit I can see how you'd be disapointed but the TLR-7 looked bright to me... gonna compare Surefire to it and see.

I dunno man, that TLR-7 looks super bright. Compared to my X300U it is more intense and very comparable. From such a smaller light, amazing. Just tested it at 10-20 feet in 80% darkness on a huge wall in my house.

Nice, that easily clears, thank you. Interesting points about the TLR-7. I don't have any "long range" areas inside my (town)house, so I'm not sure if it would be a problem. The longest straight line area inside my house is 12 yards.

Received my Parker Mountain Machine handgaurd today. Don't think I'm going to be using it. So if anyone here is interested I am willing to sell it at cost $158.75 shipped.

My brightest two lights are models people say might be TOO bright... that little TLR-7 is similar. It is Streamlight’s best IMHO. Surefire XC1 is bright enough barely and it won’t fit on my G30S... TLR-7 kicks it’s rear

Not really a fan of the box look. I also got use to the catalyst arms add on.

I'd sure like to see some nice walnut furniture made for this gun.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
