You are using logic and a cost based analysis in your decision to upgrade a $450 rifle. That logic has never been used for the millions of ghettoized glocks out there. Why start now with these Ruger carbines?😁

True that... Applies to $600 1911's with $1500 worth of strap checkering too.

That seems about right if they want to sell a bunch. Street price maybe $120 after the dust settles. I think the PMM looks a lot better, but I need to see that one from more angles and consider the barrel is covered on the MI for better or worse.

There are items on the EBAY already too.

              better angle pic

I wonder what the PMM would look like with a drum...

That handguard looks nice. And for that price is decent.

I only wonder how much weight it adds. Since the gun is already front heavy

                      I think I read 2 ounces more.

                      Found the IG post comment...

8.1 vs. 10.9 according to MI (10.9 being the weight of theirs). So shy of three ounces.

I like the PMM for the Thompson M1A1 look more than that PPSH look... but I can have both. The Calguns way.

Heh, that's why I could never bring myself to have any gunsmithing done to my 1911's. They're all as they came out of the box. Except my Gold Cup, which I put a drop-in grip safety on, with predictably crappy results.

3 lug looks good on it too.

It looks close quarters to the rear sight. Wonder if it interferes with the rds mounts that replace the factory rear sight.

edit: OTOH grasping it like a PCC shooter would probably block a rds mounted there anyway.

If you have no Glocks, I'd get a 17 RTF

Is anyone having issues with either Magpul or ETS mags with their ruger?
