Ruger 9mm takedown that can accept Glock mags

Whelp. For better or worse, mine is now a $1000 rifle.

I'm very happy with how it shoots. It was between this and a CZ EVO, and I'm glad I got this. Saved $100 and didn't have to buy new mags!

The PMM handguard is amazing. Well worth the money, and the wait.

Picked mine up yesterday, swapped out Ruger magwell for Glock, put a RDS on it, and it feels real nice. Ya a little heavy, but not bad. I think the handguard will work for me as well. I'm diggin' this thing, just need to shoot the crap out of it. Only thing I noticed is I couldn't mount either light have on it. I will have to either remove the sling stud, or get a small riser...

My PCC is my newest acquisition. Have had it for about 6 months now and fired a few thousand rounds through it. Really fun field rifle and the 9mm is fairly inexpensive to shoot.

Like any gun people will "make it their own" by changing/adding to it. I found it great just out of the box. I did swap to the Glock mag well even though I do not have a 9mm Glock gun. But because the PMag G19 mags are just so inexpensive compared to the Ruger.

Only other addition was a Primary Arms 2.5x compact prism scope

yes, there is a small mlok rail you can buy that attaches to the tiny little pic rail at the front that will allow you to mount lights/laser much easier.

i believe there are two companies with that, one is the catalyst arms, and i think the other is mid-west industries.

then the other one is a whole handguard change with the PMM

Ya I saw the PMM handguard which looks pretty cool, and sounds like people like the feel better, but I actually don't mind the stock handguard, at least holding it and pointing it. I don't know if I want to drop the $150 for it, at least not yet. Maybe shooting it will change my mind... I am thinking I will just grab a small 3 slot riser for around $10. I saw the Catalyst deal, as well, but I just want to throw a light on, so I figure I can save ~$80 over the Catalyst going with the riser. Wondering if a 0.5" riser will be enough to clear the lights or not...

Pretty sure the TLR-7 and similar sized lights will install as-is.
