Ruger 9mm takedown that can accept Glock mags

I was doing a PPT at CAP Tactical in Lawndale, they had one left in stock for 529.00 plus tax and DROS.

I got the last one, they do expect more in shortly. Just a heads up for a great store. May want to give a holler if interested in one.

Picked up mine from Turner's today. The guy said they had 500 preorders are were allocated 30. Mine was the first he knew about releasing out the door. I got the threaded barrel model. Swapped in the Glock adapter and can't wait to take it out to shoot.

I was called about 12 days ago to tell me that it could start DROS. I did my pre-order on December 29. They called a few weeks back asking if I wanted to switch to the threaded model with SR9 mags or stay with the other model. I went with this one as it was what they expected to arrive first.

From what I understand the first shipment a couple of weeks ago was small and this next shipment is suppose to be larger (supposedly next week) and they are all going to be the threaded model. Another member here was called to see if he wanted to switch to the threaded model vs what he had on order.

I was also told they had 500 pre-orders in and they will go by the date the deposits were in and not to expect to see any on the rack till late in the year.

For those that have not shot one of these yet they are a hoot to shoot. I bought mine yesterday and took it out a couple hours later. 48 rounds with no problems what so ever using the Ruger mag. This afternoon after lunch I went out for a drive and shot another 40 or so rounds mixed ammo like the yesterday run and this time with the Glock mags and again no malfunctions. I'm going to throw this in the truck when I go gopher shooting it's going to be fun, get one.

no, it is b/c proforce is LEO/first responder only. they sell a lot of things much cheaper than at a regular gun store.

Then Glock Blue Label. $395 for a Glock 19 gen 5. $100 off retail for LEO. Haven't seen the Ruger rifle here. When production catches up to demand I guess.

I might be able to do that for you. Can you check first if it’s an SR9 mag, or an SR9c mag? I’d prefer the SR9c mag. I suspect either would work for my purposes though.

So given that I got the quote of 500 as well, I think we can combine info for a better picture.

Maybe your store got 30 of the 200 I was told got to the warehouse? Did you ask if 30 was the number for the store, or the total number they got to put towards the 500 pre orders?

Well at least they are trickling in at some rate.
But I suspect I still have a long wait as I changed my pre-order to threaded and that put me no doubt on the bottom of the list at that time.
