Wondering how they solved the carrier tilt problem. Mechanically it looks very similar to all the piston kits I've seen.

ARAK is self contained and doesn't need a buffer tube. It's much more like an AK than an AR.

It's been around for decades, but there is little written about it, as the typical western gun reviewers haven't really had access to one to put through its paces. Now that they are going to be sold here, I'd expect some in depth analysis to be forthcoming this year. I'll for sure have one. I'd expect any potential issues with the design to have been pretty much worked out given its long history of service. I look forward to owning one, especially at its remarkably attractive price.

                Some first glance thoughts:

There are more parts involved with field stripping compared to yankee made gp systems.

                The gas system isn't adjustable.

That gas plug release looks like a accident looking to happen when somebody tries to attach their sling to it.

Lots of parts involved in the gas piston/op rod assembly.

The bolt looks different too. Gas ring "area" is a solid built up area on t91 bolt. Wondering if a standard AR bolt will fit?

Looks like the cam pin and ejector/extractors are AR compatible.

I do like the old school ejection port. No case deflector.

*I'd like to see Daewoo rifles come back.

Sent using 2 cans and a long string.

Will there be other t91 parts like the specific t91 carry handle, detachable rear sight, grip, stock.. basically the cosmetic parts if one wanted to make a visual "replica" of the original?

Looks like the gas piston vents on the two holes up front.

I want to see someone costa grip that thing.

i don't think wolf is importing those parts.

probably be hard to obtain too since i doubt any parts makers have those things since this was all military only before wolf brought this upper to the american market.

and i doubt the market will be big enough for parts makers here in USA to tool up to make them for the very niche market.

i will probably mount a red dot on mine once i buy it.

I'm a tentative want. This sounds good, but I've seen so many products get introduced to big excitement only to find out there are serious down sides.

                          Questions:

Weight/Balance - Will it make the rifle too muzzle heavy?

Quality - Close ups of the internal parts machining and finish make me nervous.

Spare Parts - I like to have access to spare parts.

The price is good and if it's decently accurate and stone reliable I'll probably pick one up after the early adopter guinea pigs have put it to the test. I just never buy stuff until it has been evaluated by real shooters.

Besides I don't know if I need another AR.

I shot a rifle with the T91 upper and Geissele SSA-E trigger equipped with a Trijicon MRO around Thanksgiving last year. The experience with great. The gun was well balanced not front heavy at all. The action was super smooth. Thirty rounds went through very quickly for me.

That's good to know. I can see how the action would be smooth since the carbon doesn't get blown back into the upper.

I like the idea that the rifle has been in use for many years. I just hope they didn't cheapen any parts for the consumer market.
