I wish Yankee Hill would have still continued the LR-300 rifle after they bought ZM Weapons. Hands down best piston driven AR with a true side folding stock. It just cost em too much $ at the time to produce.

short stroke piston system barrel with a SOCOM profile rather than M4, the removal of the forward assist and a shrunk down brass deflector.

Since I can't run full auto or a suppressor it offers no benefit to the DI that's served me well for decades and tens of thousands of rounds.

Can you truly free float a piston driven barrel or is the extra hardware going to mess with barrel harmonics and hence accuracy?

$600 is a fair price for a piston upper. At that price, sounds like they will sell like hotcakes.

Folks we expect more in 7 -14 days , These uppers are very nice and a SOLID build , We were surprised how quickly they got snapped up.

I wonder if it has the issues with the BCG eating into the receiver? And how this compares to the much more expensive ARAK upper?

As an ARAK fanboy, this gun probably runs circles around the ARAK. For one this design has been field tested for the last 40 years. The ARAK has recent LE experience to my knowledge.

I would take one of these uppers for sure! Will it be available in 762x39?

Taiwan exports rifles (uppers) that their military uses while the people of Taiwan can not. Maybe their government is doing their own "fast and furious" these days.
