Mojave Lever Crew - Roll Call!

I have a wealth of .41 bullets and even some loaded ammo I can bring on Monday. I always wanted a .41 mag carbine to go with my pistols.

I have the Lipsey's Ruger convertible .45 ACP/.45 Colt in stainless, because that is what I saw at Field Time a few years ago and it was in stock. I really wanted the 5 1/2 inch barrel but ended up with the 4 5/8 barrel. I will have it and ammo Monday.

Many a fine hour can be spent plinking .22 from these fantastic Ruger single-actions. Gun handling skills, specifically sixgun loading practice, can be had in addition to the fun shooting tin cans at various distances. Certainly no waste of ammo...

I've two Single Sixes too. One of them is always along on every range trip, desert excursion, and camping.

Preston-CLB, would you like to be installed on the MLC roster? I can never assume one's participation here to that end, so I must always ask.

It's a load of fun! I was plinking golf balls at 15 yds yesterday; actually sent one up and over the berm.

Quick note on the grips on mine. They were purchased from Ruger, and made by Altamont.

Sweet! My range is in Angels camp, which is about a 30 minute drive from my place in Columbia. Best days are during the week. Late Spring or Fall is best in order to beat summer heat.

It is really nice country up here. I moved to Tuolumne County in 1974 to escape the Bay Urea. I can be in Yosemite in under 2 hours and Sonora Pass in 1.5 hours. I love the mellow look of the oak forests and grass near home.
