Hey brother, This site is still a PITA. It's a little more hit than miss these days but I still have problems.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

It sure seems like this has died, or at least is gasping for life. I need to get my Marlin out after Randall cropped the barrel for me....I also need to try the Commander that he tweaked. Along with the S&W .45 Colt Mountain Gun and Model 29 that are begging for some range time. I also need to get the Rossi M92 .357 sighted in with the red dot. Raining again today here in the Mojave. I have been visiting the caguns site, as well.

Not that it's fixed, but it was so bad for so long, I think most of the users just stopped trying to logon.

Weather permitting, get out there and shoot 'em!

Weather is currently not permitting! We've got a lot of white stuff around these days.

I hope to get out Thursday or Friday - if by myself, I will probably just head over the the Apple Valley range. Temps should be in the upper 60s.

I was able to log in! after MONTHS of repeated failed attempts to do so.

Here we are! and it's time to get out and shoot! before it gets too warm in the Mojave.

I bought a real motorcycle. Well, SOME of you may not think so, because it's a 300cc class four-stroke "dirt bike" w/ a license plate, lights and turn signals.

Honda CRF300L, new. Sticker is $5500 give or take. But not after grabbing a skid plate, a rear rack, better bars... and maybe an exhaust. I'm an old man and do not need to crash fast anymore. I wanted a puttputt to to0l around on.

That's it for now. I'll be continuing to check in when cornditions allow. Cheers! my ever-Lever-Lovin'-MLC.

Well thank you. Sounds like a nice bike ya got there. I'm 68 now, and decided 750 LBS of Motorcycle between my legs was too much. I gave my Harley to my Son In Law. I do not need to crash slow and heavy HA! Be safe on your new ride there.

It's made by Anza Knives. https://anzaknives.biz/store/

                            They make knives from files.

This one is made from a diamondback file.

Technically, it's not a file, but a rasp.
Rasps have individually raised teeth while files have teeth that span the full width of the tool.
                              Here is a rasp:

The maker of the knife ground all the raised teeth off and what is left are those cool half diamond pockets that were left over from raising the individual teeth while making the rasp.

I stopped supporting them when they took over/bought/traded for the Tollison (sp?) Ranch and blocked off access to the public land behind them where we used to hunt. Traded lands with the state of New Mexico. It seemed kinda counter to their stated goals. Now only their big shots and those connected get to hunt there. This is a public land bull I took there just before they shut us off.

(To clarify, we did not hunt on the ranch - there was state land between the ranch and the nation forest. They traded land with the state when they got the ranch to take over that state land that enabled access to the national forest, then shut off that access.)
