That 20" octagon 357 sounds awesome!
I picked up a model 96 (with a couple spare firing pins!) a couple years ago. Highly recommended you find one, even for the premium they cost. It's just money, you'll make more of it.

The trick is to balance the earning and gun spending to leave enough of the money for everything else (living).
I find it hard to fund more than about 1 gun a week.

This week's gun is the ugliest glock you ever saw:

An hour in the milling machine and some cerakote will have it looking great though.
For my $215 winning bid, it also comes with a laser guide rod and night sights.

For those who want to get together and sling some lead, the No Name Pistol Club will be having its annual OK Corral Match at Burro Canyon at 9 AM on Saturday, Oct 8 on Rental range 1C across the road from the office. In one stage you will be one of the Earps and one stage you will one of the Cowboys. A vintage 3-gun stage will follow. You can shoot whatever you bring, but the theme calls for six guns, lever guns and double barrel or older Winchester shotguns. Wear and shoot 2 six-guns if you want. Or shoot your Glock and AR.
We run it as a cold range, meaning you do not load until it is your turn to shoot and are told to load and make ready by the safety officer - but no range Nazis here. The whole goal is to have fun safely. Score is kept but just for your own use or between buddies.
After the match is over, usually by noon or 1 PM, we have the range all day to shoot until closing time. It is a fun group and the BS flows freely along with good info.

Her's my iron. At one time I also had a short tube 30AS, Marlin39, and a Winchester saddle ring '94. I can't see that swell these days so, I need glass on the rigs I want to hit something with. PAX

drugs or alcohol is my guess.
It comes with night sights and a lasermax laser guide rod so I look at it like I am about $150 into the gun and I can make it completely serviceable without much effort.

I'd have paid 215 for that. Same cost as a hi point. 😆

No kidding. Or the '94's. Time will tell. Well, at least I'm not in the market for another lever gun. Today.

It would make business sense to produce the more profitable models first so you can sell through that production at a higher profit margin before you work on filling out the old product line with the more affordable models.
