    I've done 2 of those GM barreled Side Charging uppers now one in 7.62/39 and the other in 556. They work great.

        On sale - save $40. There is a review from a guy in CA. He didn't install a gas tube. He installed an adjustable gas block but "closed it" so no gas is going through it. Check out the review - it's the third or so review from the top.

              Just did that with their 762/39 21 " barrel and have a 556 coming this week. I really like this setup. BTW Midway has the side charging upper with BCG on sale for 199.99 regularly $239. I just ordered one of those this afternoon. That makes three now.
