    %$^& GLOCKS!!!

    I am sooo pissed!

As some of you may habe seen my glock thread asking which one I should buy!

I ended up buying the G17L!

I just took it to the SSZS in barstow.

I took it out loaded the mags with Bulletmans 9mm reloads and it would not cycle them! One or two shots and the casing got stuck every time. I think it is because the loads are not hot enough!

BUT my biggest gripe is that all this hyoe about glocks and my very firrst $730 glock dosnt even work!!!!!!

I have a XD40 and I have shot thousands of bulletmans reloads with out a hickup!

    So F&^%K Glock!!!!!!!

As much as I dislike Glocks, the 9mm versions are some of the most reliable 9mm's ever made. I really think you need to take a hard look at your reloaded ammo. Your first action after encountering the problem should have been to acquire some factory new ammo and see if the problem continues. I was at the SSZS and would have been happy to give you a mag or two...as I am sure most shooters there would have....

Why not get some factory ammo down the pipe and get back to us...

Cool story bro. Now go get some non-crappy ammo and try again.

NO, my point is that all the hype that glocks are great and this one is being ammo picky?

          Thats bullsh&!~~~~~

I spent half the money on the XD and it has performed with out any problems. $730 gun should shoot what I feed it no ifs or ands about it!

$730 for a glock kinda defeats the whole point of a glock. Hell you could have bought a HK VP9 for that kind of coin.

eheheheh. Are you sure there wasn't any bacon inside the Glock OP that maybe fell in there during breakfast.

Seriously though, sorry your new pistol in not working.

Sorry, that sucks. But I do find it amusing in the same way as when Apple products and Toyotas crap out.

As for blaming the ammo, why? I thought Glocks were supposed to "eat anything," no?

A bunch of little things about Glock annoy me. Like the fact that their slogan is "perfection" and that they refuse to print or say the "Sig" in ".357 Sig."

I use BM's 9mm reloads in my Glock 19 and 17, no problem.

Those Glock fanboys are not to be taken seriously.

Did they actually suggest a G17L?

Were you limp-wristing? Did you have someone else shoot it?

try changing the recoil spring. Other 17L owners have overcome the problem with the change.

Yeah...you should sell your Glock and stick with XD then.

Wow. Sounds like you've experienced more failures to cycle with your Glock than pretty much all Glocks in existence...worldwide.

Yeah, that was a bit of sarcasm.

Now being serious...I would look at the ammo first. Even though you've had positive experiences with this mfr before, the fact is that all reload companies use different brand components from batch to batch.

I would put Glocks ability to produce consistent quality up against any reloaders ability to deliver consistent quality any day.
