Well after a long wait im finally a proud owner of a sa loaded, and first 1911! The only problem now is im hooked on 1911's!

I called up the California DOJ yesterday. Said no record of a ATI# sent in with the number on my receipt from the live scan. So I went to the live scan place and they said that the number was wrong on the printed receipt and I should of used the hand written number on the worksheet stapled to the back of my receipt. So I called the CDOJ again and that number was not in the system either.
So went back to the live scan place and they looked in their computer and said the original number on the receipt was the right number, but they sorta forgot to send it to the CDOJ!!

So now they are going to send it and keep in touch with the CDOJ and update me today when it shows the CDOJ gets it.

The Live Scan place here in San Marcos on Mission Road are a bunch of dummys for sure!!

this is why I ALWAYS put my SS#, people always tell me it makes no difference but I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN A DROS DELAY....and of all the people i know who give the SSN, none of them have ever gotten a bounce back...

most I hear about that bounce back, did not put their SSN and have a name that is common

You do understand that the FFL has nowhere to put your social on the CA DROS system right? If you are delayed the DOJ does not ask the FFL for it.

Having it on paper just opens you up to identify theft issues if the FFL gets robbed or has shady employees.

Purchased over a dozen handguns and rifles over the past 5 years, never provided SSN.....never delayed.

I always put my ssn and I got delayed.

ETA: I don't have a common name either.
