As I pretty much suspected, an HP round will go through 12 in. of ballistics gel, through 2 sheets of drywall, and continue through another sample of ballistics gel. Drywall is flimsy stuff, afterall.
On this video:

Seems to me like all that talk about using HP's to prevent over-penetration through walls will give a false sense of security.
