I use the compact range bag from Midway. No complaints thus far. I carry my pistol in a separate locked container inside the bag.

I use a tool bag from Home Depot, I have gone through a few range bags, Range bags simply won't last! tool bags are made to carry heavy tools and so far it had lasted me for 3 years already! and it's only $10 bucks! Yeah I know, I'm cheap!

I use the GPS handgunner back pack. It has labeled compartments for everything, 2 zippered compartments with 12 individual mag pockets 6 on each side and a closed cell dividers for 4 handguns.

You can lock the midwayusa competition range bag, even though it has the double parallel zippers. Take a cable lock, the ones that come with most guns, and thread it through the zipper of one side, the D-ring of the carry strap then the other zipper and then lock it.

People complain that it can't be locked like other bags that have two zippers that zip together so the zippers meet up, but I think what I do is sufficient. You can of course, always take the box your gun came in, lock it, then put that in your UNLOCKED range bag, because the gun is still locked. Nobody said your range bag has to be locked, just that the gun is in a locked case. I was never sure if "trunk" counts, but if you have a pickup or van with no trunk, you gotta do something like this. OR put the range back in a larger lockable plastic tub.

That's actually a great idea. I may look at these if my range bag rips or tears on me.

I got this bag from Amazon and it has been pretty good.

The side pockets both have gun rugs and the zippers have rings so that you can lock them together with a luggage lock.

I've always been curious about this bag. Isn't it really heavy with all the ammo as well?

The straps are wide and distributes the weight very well.

Good to know, thanks. I have a Condor backpack, but I've always liked the organization of the GPS Handgunner.

+1 on the LAPG Bailout Bag. It's small but holds alot of stuff. Normally it's $19.99 but it's on sale right now for $12.99.

The LAPG Tactical Bailout Bag was designed to be the ultimate in personal gear carrying. It's perfect for a wide range of tasks.

Add another for the LAPG BOB. This bag is great for the money, $12.99 is such a crazy deal, I paid $19.99 and thought i got a hell of a bargain. This bag is the exact copy of the Condor Tactical Response/Range Bag(probably from the same factory in China) but less than half the price and same quality 600D nylon is sturdy enough and well stitched. There is an oversize version called the Jumbo BOB but the regular version is good enough for my needs.

I have both the regular and the jumbo bailout bag and IMO I think the regular one is more practical. It seems like I can fit more into the regular one than the Jumbo one. Kindda wish I didn't buy the Jumbo one since I only used it once and been sitting in the garage since.

I've been looking for a new range bag that holds 4 pistols myself as well. I would recommend the Glock 4-pistol Range Bag, but the material is not as good as the Midway ones-- still good though.
