I am sure this topic has yet to be discussed in the gun world...I am very interested in hearing the definite conclusion.

Glock FTW. When you can purchase them at Blue label pricing, why would you want anything else????

Hey, if you got the cash, go for the HK.

For the money, I rather have Glock and in fact, I own and shoot a Glock pistol.

Nothing wrong with HK pistols, they are great products, but like someone just mentioned: HK is overpriced for what it is.

It comes down to what purpose.

The primary purpose for a handgun is for home and self defense. Therefore, I look for one that provides the highest assurance level that when I pull the trigger it goes bang. Price point should not be in the discussion when a life is depending on it.

I live that I have deep pockets, or play too much cod so I bought an hk!!!

I have had my standard usp .45 for bout 15 yrs now. I bought it because it had every feature I wanted in a pistol a the time.

The biggest difference you will notice is ergonomics and grip angle. Research how to check natural point of aim, then see which pistol works better for you. I feel like I'm pointing a flock at the ground, while my hk feels natural.
Why is everything good???? Illegal, Immoral, fattening???

LOL at this "glock vs hk" thread. Op, you should start a thread about Toyota vs BMW in ot.

Ive owned every caliber and size of glock only time their slide release comes in handy is for ccw. Besides that I don't care for it.i consider a glock to be superior in function then almost any firearm and for the price can't beat it with a stick. But when it boils down to it for the extra money you get a little of a more comfortable feel overall with a Hk
I mean the HK slide release. It's a tool-steel pin pressed into a rough casting. I don't get it. The slide looks as if it were machined by a Swiss jeweler, but the safety looks like it was made by a Chinese political prisoner.

If you are a polymer guy go with the Glock. Otherwise, go with Sig. HK makes and excellent quality product, but I cannot justify the price.

My dad owns a uspc 40 and a uspc 45. I have not shot the 45 yet but the 40 is one of my favorite pistols I am so accurate with it. My dad loves hk his last two pistols were hk, now I'm just waiting for him to get interested in the hk rifles

HK's are nice pistols, but a different beast compared to a Glock. A fair comparison or VS thread would be a fullsize M&P and Glock, but for f**ks sake there are a million out there already being discussed.

Based on what? Are you asking if one is more accurate? more reliable? more durable? What caliber are you comparing? 9mm?.40? .45? Have you shot an HK? Can you shoot DA/SA proficiently at speed? Do you shoot timed drills faster and more accurately with a Glock?

My point is there is a lot to look at when you're comparing pistols. Better than has to have a criteria. Other than both being polymer, HKs and Glocks have nothing in common.

HK is arguably the best gun maker on the planet. I had a HK94 that was a dream. Now I have a USP. Glock people are like Apple people, they are very biased toward their brand. But HK is in another league. There is no substitute.

I just recently picked up that HK P30 and wow, it was designed like perfect. The only part I wasn't sure on was the mag release. But awesome pistol thats NOT on the roster.
