Really Wanting a FNH Five seveN

I am kicking myself for not buying one I seen a long time ago for something like 850 or 900. I would love to try one. You guys can have your caliber wars all day, but would you like to be hit by one? Exactly. A projectile is a projectile. It is not like saying, you have one bb left in a bbgun, or 1 460 magnum round in a gun to stop a man from trying to stab you.

The gun is more of a collectors piece to me. Don't get me wronge I like it and its a nice concept and unique. It was good for concept
carry, plastic felt better than cold steel on skin but the levers felt flimsy and can't be used to full potential in ca. With 10 round limit and no ap rounds. It shoots great, accurate, fast require time between shots. But when it came down to it I ended up stuffing my 1k into a different pistol

Ft Hood lost a lot of good people to a spree shooter who used this " Junk".

It is the worst shooting ever to take place on an American military base.

When the shooting ended, he was still carrying 177 rounds of unfired ammunition in his pockets, contained in a bunch 20 and 30 round magazines. He fired 200+ rounds.

I have one and love it. i can shoot it faster than my fully raced out G21. ammo sucks for thoes not in the know but is can be found and not at silly GB prices. actually just got email today that 500 rounds are being shipped out of AE at 19$ per box. I find 197 at 40$ shipped all the time even 30$ just the 30$ is sold out fast,lol
the gun is fun I have Wilson combat I have full blow glockwork G21 plain G17 desert eagle ect ect this was next for me and I shoot it more than anything right now even with high ammo prices. REMEMBER these prices are temp there is gonna be no bann on this ammo they tried many times it aint gonna happen. panic buyers have the market jacked right now and sellers are taking advantage wait and you will find ammo at 19 per box very soon a few other places are starting to fill orders now as we speak

anyone can say how junk it is or what not but in reality its all about shot placement whether it be a .22 or .500. although we cant get ap rounds look at this realistically is someone who intrudes your house at night gonna be wearing full on armor with level 50 vest? probably not. more than likely it will be some skinny crack head with a t-shirt on... to the op if you like it buy it, like everyone else says buy once cry once. if it feels great in your hands buy it. unfortunately i had to sell mines a few months back

dude your just full of hate. when was the last time you shot someone? let me guess same time as me never. hopefully never will and if you do you dont have to use the 5.7
if you buy guns just to kill people then you have issues. I personaly buy guns cuz they look cool or no one else has along with the standards cuz they are fun to shoot at paper.

I see you live in Sac you ever shoot at the gun range off watt? if so we should meet up so I can see what a great shot you are I bring my lil 5.7 you bring what ever you want.

Five Sevens are cool guns and on paper a really good idea. The fact is ammo is both hard to find and expensive for them, and their main selling point is their magazine capacity which is limited in this stupid state.

I think the FiveSeven is a pretty cool gun as well.

But to all the people using the Fort Hood shooting as an argument to how lethal the round is. Out of the 42 people Hasan shot, 13 were killed. That's 30% of the victims shot. Not very effective, thankfully.

oh and no I don't buy guns that are ineffective like the 5.7. A full auto 5.7 would be useful but we can't get those.

yup I am and I am not a fan boy of anything. I am just saying I beat you with the 5.7 or I could use your gun prob but beating you with the 5.7 would be more fun.
I usaually go sunday every sunday you pick the time I bring the 5.7

what would the challenge be? All my criticism of the gun is due to poorly stopping bad guys. A test of how quck it shoots or that it groups tighter than my glock is non sequitor.
