I keep a loaded glock 19 next to my bed in my nightstand. Loaded with 10 rounds of Hollowpoints. Also keep a surefire 6P LED light and a Glock field knife. Loaded shotgun in closet Remington 870 with 00 buck.

Careful with the gun vault. I can reset any of the plug in models to the factory default in about 10 seconds. The company claims to have never heard of this issue, but I did it to the first one I got and the next three replacements they have sent me. I'll give them a bit of time, but I'm about to flush the issue on youtube.

12 Gauge, yo. Because everyone knows you dont have to aim it, and fools shyte themselves when they hear the action.

In reality I keep a G17 bedside and a Surefire equipped Benelli M1 in the closet a few feet away.

Why have a gun you couldn't use in an emergency.

1911 kept with loaded mags, secured and within arms reach

Welcome to California. Not all the laws here suck. If somebody breaks in they are presumed to be an imminent unlawful deadly threat until proven otherwise. Oh and there is no exception to the above for people who scream police as they break in.

DA sig sauer p220 with 230gr. hollow point 1 chambered with a full mag next to the bed hidden within arms reach ready to rock.

no kids in the house, and I put it away when I step out. MY room is in the back of the house where a lo life is most likely to enter through my alley. I live in a nice neighborhood but recently my neighbors house was Broken into in broad daylight. So I'm ready! Oh and the other day my friends house was broken into, and they took his 7mm mag remington 700 passed down from his Father Who passed away from cancer caused by long term effects of agent orange in Vietnam. Really ticks me off they took that! I guess I'm a little paranoid, but can you blame me.
I just heard Gov. Arnold is pushing to release alot of unemployable criminals from prison with no parole supervision to save money in California.

I gotta get around to buying some non lethal 12 gauge ammo with U.V. marking capibility... I wanna Do it right, ghetto blast their *** with rubber and call the authorities asap and have them take care of it.

I have a Springfield 1911-A1 GI, mag topped off in the gun, unchambered... and a S&W .38 J-frame loaded. I don't know why this is really a question, to me, having a gun bed-side is like having toilet paper toilet-side...

Have two gun vaults. One next to my easy chair and one next to the bed. If I have my pants on, I have my pistol on. All locked and loaded. I live in a nice gated community and a few months back had a guy try to break in while home. He got tased in my front yard by the sheriff's dept but it took 10 min for them to arrive. The BG may have had issues had he gotten in my house. Nice neighborhoods doesn't mean squat. BG's everywhere.

Springfield XDsc 9mm next to the bed my side, mag in but not chambered. I used to have the mag next to it but if SHTF in the dark, I don't want to be fumbling for the mag.
