Why? LE can't prove the mags he posted on post #1 were the same mags he talked about just a minute ago. He could've very well sold those ones in post #1 and found some on the way to the shooting range.

Something about this particular law smacks of Prohibition. A badly written, inaccurate useless law that is almost unenforceable. You'd think that legislators would learn their lesson from history.

Just because its not illegal doesn't mean they can't arrest you for it.

You can beat the rap(after a lot of headaches and $$$) but you can't beat the ride.

One experience with the system and I bet a lot of you guys wouldn't be so full of bravado.

There's just no reason to play around with these laws.

Haha exactly I shot many mags with many different firearms and they all functioned fine....nuff said....what mags did I shoot? Its like a tootsie pop how many licks does it take to get to the center? The world may never know lol. Plus hypotheticly speaking talkin about the commision of a crime is useless unless somebody can prove the crime was commited.

Well, you could always get arrested by a cop. Even if you didn't commit a crime. You'll have to get a lawyer pay for the lawyer. Lose time at work. Get several headaches to only get "okay charges dropped." With alot of time and money down the drain.

Very true, never thought of it like that. But Departments have powerful lawyers. I'm sure those who are worried (younger guys like me who work for 10 bucks an hour) would be lucky to beat a police department.

Plus it's your word, someone who had possession of a magazine that.held more than the legal California 10 round limit, against a uniformed law enforcement officer backed by an agency who upholds the law.

This is true, but by that extension, why would you ever take your guns out of your house? You run the risk of being pulled over, vehicle search, confiscation, etc.

Either your actions are legal or they are not.

I get what you mean by 'playing around with these laws'... if by 'playing around' you mean following the letter and complying completely with an extremely poorly written and pretty much un-enforceable law.
