Now this is a question of personal... ethics? Something like that. It comes down to what *you* personally think and believe in. No harm no foul? No one will ever know? It's a stupid law and I'll never get caught?
Personally, if they weren't for any firearm I already had or planned on acquiring, I might turn them in. But more likely I'd leave them where they were. I mean if we're talking, like a cardboard box with no identifying marks or anyway of finding the owner. It's a good hypothetical, sort of like finding the wallet with cash in it but no ID. Keep it? Turn it it? Or even better, turn it in knowing full well that after 30 days there is no way you will ever get to keep it and that it'll just end up next to the Ark of the Covenant.
And that my friend, is correct and sad and infuriating all at once.
