Ok, I stand corrected. However, I still don't think everyone needs to own at least one Glock.

Why would anyone need a glock???? If we took all the blocks out the world what would happen? uhmm nothing. Glocks are what they are today because of solid marketing and fanboys who swear there soul on them. Thats it, Ask someone if the know what a glock is 95% will say yes. Now ask someone what a hipower is 95% will say no. You see something wrong with that? Its that damn call of duty lol.

          For the record I've owned 2 different 1911's 2 HK's 2 P series Sigs, 3 Glocks, 3 S&W revolvers and an M&P 9mm and have shot different handguns like CZ's ect.

So I have a bit of experience in different firearms also but IMO nothing I've ever owned beat a glock as far as value goes. I don't think there has ever been an absolute perfect gun made to date somebody always has a criticism.

Glocks are great firearms. Anyone who says otherwise should have their credentials examined. But they are not for me. Ii just can't get over the grip angle.

Congrats - I think the gen 4 problems did exist but in small batches. What you hear on the internet is usually a vocal minority.

Nevertheless, I ordered a gen 3 G17, hoping to completely sidestep the problems. Then I started reading that Glock started putting the gen 4 parts onto the gen 3, and that the gen 3 started having erratic ejection problems, in late production models.

Mine was made in late October 2011 and has the 336 ejector and new dipped extractor, which some claim is MIM but I highly doubt.

Nevertheless, I was anxious to know how it would fair. I put about 150 trouble free rounds through it so far, with all rounds ejecting hard and around 4 O'clock, almost into a neat pile.
I love blued steel and fancy walnut on some of my toys, but a Glock is a hell of a tool, but can also be a fun range toy.

Hi! I would cite resources to back my opinion up about how I think gun is over hyped, but I am tired from my school work, for I just wrote an essay.

My reasoning for thinking that they are over hyped is because of typical psychology factors where someone says that glocks are awesome, and that creates a consensus from other people who want to justify their purchase from another angle besides how well it shoots, which is irrelevant since people have different standards of what shoots best for them, and keep in mind that can be altered by many other elements due to ignorance mostly.
If one "Woo" Girl starts it, then others will follow, which is why Justin Beiber exist.

                              So there it is...

Some "Woo" girl (the Ellen show) said WOO and now Justin Beiber exists. What an idiot!

Some person said WOO for Glocks and now everyone likes Glocks apparently. If your ignorant about guns and buy a glock on the WOO factor, then that is a shame.

Im open to other comments though, thanks for reading and asking for my opinion.

I own few revolvers, 1911's and Glocks. I love and need them all.
If a end of the world senario came about, I would place them all in a utility cart and walk around the nieghborhood selling them for twice what I paid. Not
