    Berretta 380 bad?

I wouldn't buy a center fire Ruger semi auto. Anything by IMI no Desert Anchors for me. Kel Tec's are a no. No Meteba I've shot them and they blow.

I wouldn't buy anything that has a cheesy feel. That includes some expensive guns.

I'm sure I've missed some and I am sure some of the ones I've written off are good shooters, just not for me.
I have a Berretta 85F Cheetah I bought for my wife and it is a great pistol. It never jams and is quite accurate for a smaller pistol. It is my wifes home defense gun. That's how much I trust it.

I also say stay away from the p-22. Nothing but problems for me. What a shame.

I would stay away from Glocks because I have read about all the Kabooms they do. I read a statistic on the interenet that said that they Kaboom all the time.

I would not touch a Sig, because the frame rails are cheap aluminum and crack all the time.

S&W Third Gens are junk, because a lot of police departments use them and most police don't know anything about guns.

Ruger P series are bad because Bill Ruger sold us out.

1911s are no good because they are heavy and old and jam a lot.

HK is cool, because they make cool t-shirts and dick Sharkman Marcinko says so as well.

CZs suck because they were designed by Commies.

The Browning HP is no good because it was designed by a Mormon and is old and not cool like the other guns.

I figure, buy a HK if you can afford to spend $1000 for a lead thrower, otherwise you should just buy a cheap Bryco and save the money, because if you listen to all the internet experts, every other gun is crap.

Davis P-380, bought it years ago for dirt cheap. Sold it for even less within a month just to get rid of it, total crap.

Never had a problem with either of my two Kimbers.

No I'm not, I trashed John Moses Browning, Smith and Wesson, AND Ruger. I trashed the 1911, what could be more unpatriotic than that?

Where do you get bigot? And why would a WASP bigot have a pen name of Suvorov?

Tankerman, I like your name and most of your posts you have written, but dude, you need to take this forum a little less seriously.

For the record, I disagree with pretty much EVERYTHING I stated (except that I do like HKs)

Sarcasm is overrated, particularly online. It decreases communication at the risk of being funny. In fact, it is rarely humorous or entertaining except to its creator. However, its use is pathognomonic for young age, stunted intellect and/or errant judgement.

I wanted so much to like my Wilson Combat KZ-45.

1,000 rounds and it never got a trouble-free mag through it, of any type of ammo. It was terrible.

When I sent it back to them to fix, they asked "what bubba gunsmith did this?" Which was funny for two reasons. One, to my untrained eye, it looked flawless inside. Two.... they did the work. It was stock, one month old, and untouched by anyone except Wilson Combat. They said "oh... ummmmm we'll fix it"

They didn't. They tried, but failed.

To their credit, they bought it back from me, and I got a CQB which was flawless. I took it back to my local Master Dealer, and the owner of the shop took the gun out. He agreed that it was the most unreliable gun he'd ever shot... and this is a guy who has owned a gun shop for two decades.

But the KZ is a nice looking gun, 10+1, with a nice trigger, and accurate. My buddy has one that works fine, and I wish mine had done the same. I would buy another without hesitation, if I knew it would work properly. But that was the only unreliable gun I have ever owned, to be honest.

I also found "Suvorov" post rather refreshing and entertaining. He pretty much summarized the entire 9 pg. thread with one post. And theme of his post can extended to rest of the forums as well. I personally find that most gun forums have 50% good factual useful info, and other 50% filled with koolaid drinkers, fanboys arguing over brand names or other irrelevant stuff.
And to contribute to this thread; I find low end/cheap 1911s unappealing. Heavy and inaccurate guns are pretty much useless to me.

PS> It was not too long ago when STAG lower was the original and only OLL. People paid nearly ~$300 to get one. And STAG uppers were highly sought out pieces since they were just as reliable/accurate as top tier company (they were made with CMT parts after all). Now OLL builds dont even get a second glance unless its built on COLT, LMT, Armalite parts dressed with LaRue mounts and DD rails. Lets not forget our roots folks, it only took us 3 years to catch up to ARF.COM attitude.
