I would stay away from the Beretta, I have read about all the locking block failures and you'll be lucky to have one before the slide fails and impales you in the face.

I would stay away from Glocks because I have read about all the Kabooms they do. I read a statistic on the interenet that said that they Kaboom all the time.

I would not touch a Sig, because the frame rails are cheap aluminum and crack all the time.

S&W Third Gens are junk, because a lot of police departments use them and most police don't know anything about guns.

Ruger P series are bad because Bill Ruger sold us out.

1911s are no good because they are heavy and old and jam a lot.

HK is cool, because they make cool t-shirts and dick Sharkman Marcinko says so as well.

CZs suck because they were designed by Commies.

The Browning HP is no good because it was designed by a Mormon and is old and not cool like the other guns.

I figure, buy a HK if you can afford to spend $1000 for a lead thrower, otherwise you should just buy a cheap Bryco and save the money, because if you listen to all the internet experts, every other gun is crap.

The SW Sigma is a great gun. Sure it had bugs in the earlier models, but this has been nothing but a solid reliable shooter for me.

Whatever floats your boat. There are people out there who actually think that their Blackthrone AR's are as good as Colts too...

You forgot to mention that the 1911 is no good because it too was designed by the same Mormon...also, the BHP as we know it was also the result of a Dieudonne Saive refinement of JMB's design. Dieudonne Saive is Belgian so the BHP is only a partially Momon designed pistol. If you're gonna be a smart ***, as least be accurate.

BTW, my SIG229 DID have a cracked frame rail. Went back to SIG, got fixed and got sold pronto. Some of us actually have experience with these pistols we speak of...imagine that.

I have a Walther P-22 that has never run right. I have sent it back to S&W three times with the same result. Ron Kennedy at Canyon sports has gone through it himself to no avail.

I see what the problem is with this one, S&W. My PPKS was made by Interarms prior to S&W taking over the US work.

Beretta 92 and 96 and variations, including Taurus' rendition of the same. Pure and total complete TRASH!

Malfunction after malfunction, even on fair weather Sundays on a public static range with quality factory ammo. Several have locked up completely with a live round jammed in the action, broken locking lugs even on the latest revisions. Had to be sent back to Beretta that way!

This opinion from a range officer who's observed this pistol's performance on the firing line over the last 22 years.

The Sigmas get a bad rap because of problems in the first generation models. The current generation (3rd, I think) is much more reliable and mine has 2k through it without a single problem. I've noticed that new Sigma owners like them a lot but I can understand, once burned its hard to see otherwise.

Own one? I've never fired a USP that wasn't a tackdriver. My HK certainly is more accurate than I am firing without a rest.

To all the people I have spoken too, many people say Kimber 1911 are good, but when you talk to people who have tons of 1911's and work on them themselves they tend to say Kimber is over priced and is hyped up way too much.

I have heard of people having issues with the P-22's. I guess I am lucky because mine has been 100% out of the box with Federals, RGB, and CCI.

in my dealings with both I found them to be better used as weights for deep sea fishing.
