Handguns to avoid
If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

Avoid the SIG P210. TERRIBLE gun! Lousy! SIG should be embarrassed for ever having thrust that steel turd onto unsuspecting shooting enthusiasts.
If you EVER see one in a store, avoid it at all costs, don't even talk about it to the salesman. Next, don't walk, RUN out of the store, and PM, email, fax, page, and call me immediately so I can be sure junk like that is properly disposed of.

I have a Walther P-22 that has never run right. I have sent it back to S&W three times with the same result. Ron Kennedy at Canyon sports has gone through it himself to no avail.

S&W Sigma 9M. I had one- went back to S&W THREE times- still had light strike problems. JUNK.
Davis .380- slide cracked after a few hundred rounds.
I also had a Grendel P-10 which literally fell apart.
My buddy had a Marlin Papoose which would not feed no matter what.
Those are the only things that stand out.

Any Ruger Auto
Any of the "ring of fire" guns (Davis, Lorcin, Phoenix, Bryco/Jennings, Raven, etc..)
Any S&W Auto especially the Sigma (only their M&P's and a COUPLE of their 1911's are worth buying)
Most of Kimber's 1911's
There are a few others but that's just off the top of my head.Last edited by RECCE556; 09-23-2007, 4:20 PM.Comment
