I have a taurus pt 92 9mm.(15 rd mag) bought it about ten+ years ago. shot about 4000 rounds using mfg. loads and not one FTF. 1.5 group at 25ft. also no sign of rust. its not my primary gun, however, i love it. my only complaint i have with it is that their is no decocker. i'll still will recommend it

Guns at this point I wouldn't buy.

Taurus - Para Ordenance- Smith Semi auto- Beretta pistols (shotguns are ok) any ring of fire gun. Nothing in .25, 32, or 380 caliber, I wouldn't buy any revolver other than Smith, Ruger, Colt. I wouldn't buy a center fire Ruger semi auto. Anything by IMI no Desert Anchors for me. Kel Tec's are a no. No Meteba I've shot them and they blow.

I wouldn't buy anything that has a cheesy feel. That includes some expensive guns.

I'm sure I've missed some and I am sure some of the ones I've written off are good shooters, just not for me.

I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

I'm going to get slammed for this but here goes...
The Beratta 92 series. (wait for reaction)
The locking bar system is prone to breakage, the same part every time. Now I know that range guns get beaten like ugly children, but that locking bar keeps breaking over and over again. I love it when it shoots, but sometimes it's just back from the shop and a couple of thousand rounds later it's on it's way back again. No one else really uses a locking bar on thier barrels, so is there any reason for it other then a different design?
Oh yeah , to hell with the Sigma too.

LOL, 92FS is prone to break; the design was originally from the famous Walther P38; since the barrel is moving in a linear motion, so it's suppose to be better in accuracy compare to the Browning lock-breech design

However, I think we are focusing on guns that are junk right out of the box. It's junk and will forever be junk until it's being thrown back in the melting pot. For that, my vote sure goes to any Raven or Jennings alike. Havn't seen guns more sorry then those, and I have seen gunsmiths flat out refuse to work on those guns.

There are a few others but that's just off the top of my head.
I have a MKIII 22/45 with a BBL and a dot scope. Even putting 1000-1500 rounds through it in a day at the range it doesn't jam and stays accurate. It's also a great gun for people new to firearms as it has almost no recoil.

I dug out my J-22 the other night the thing is in bad shape after being stored for the last 12 years or so. They are complete crap, I managed to hit a bottle at 25 yards one time.... but I was standing on a cliff and shooting down.. and it took 4 clips or so.

Like many others have said, Jennings, Lorcin, Bryco, Davis are pretty much crap from the git-go. You won't find these types of guns on my shelves for sale.

I haven't seen anyone mention this gun yet, but I had and quickly got rid of a Sterling .380 that had a spring that would fly out and get lost whenever the gun was opened for cleaning.
By what glory does that coinage serve you, sitting idle and cold? By what blessing has the tax-man bestowed upon you, refund or rebate, granting you the vehicle to your firearm dreams, a golden ticket to your nitrocellulose fantasies? Aye..... thus go I, bumping to the top. For you. It's all for you.

Sig Revolution. Have one and it was just not reliable (even after two trips back to Sig). Shot well but did have jams. Looks like it is a hit or miss. If you get a good one, they are great. If you get a bad one, well...

Still reading about folks with issues.

As to how I really feel? Let's just say this is a partial collection of my mixed emotions (i.e., the "emotions" closest to the front of the safe):

                        .

Looks to me like you are either missing one of your Glocks, or you are one Glock short of a full deck.

I don't see your Tuesday Glock in the picture. Also you Sunday Glock still looks a little rough on the edges and really should be dressed up a bit more for church going.

                        .....I couldn't resist, ...
........ actually had to read your post twice.....

.................the weak wrist thing I think is one of those Internet Legends... me bad.

As for all those dissing the ring of fire guns, I would gladly take my jennings 22 over any of those other mini 22 automatics, even from the big boys. It has maybe 2000 rounds and has not worn out yet, groups well, not bad to hold. I think cheaper was the way to go with those mini 22 semiautos.

Those ring of fire guns brought to us many new gun owners just because they could now afford one of those things. Our politicians do like least of all having poor people own guns and so they were driven out of business. You get what you pay for and for $40 you got allot of gun but now with all the paperwork and safety classes and waiting period and two trips to the shop you would be lucky to get something for less than $500 and this does not take into account a couple hours of bay area driving time or gas due to the big cities closing down all the local gun stores so those folks have to drive to Antioch or Parts East of Sacramento to shop for firearms.

I only chuckle though that all the gun dealers being closed in this latest round of forced closings were the same ones supporting the crack down on the kitchen table dealer throwing their support at meetings and making comments in the paper and on TV and all I said is what idiots you are because you are next, or if not next then will get it in the round after that and you do this for the quick dollar now thinking less competition means more money for you but forgetting it means less support stopping idiotic gun laws.

                          Smith & Kimber 1911's

You know, with these two brands of 1911's, it's pretty much a hit or miss in my experience. For the price, it shouldn't be a gamble when you buy. There are plenty of other 1911's out there.

As for dissing the "ring of fire" POS pistols, a Jennings was my very first pistol but that was well before I knew too much about guns. I learned on my own with no guidance and hence never had anyone tell me what a POS it was (this was long before the internet). After I bought it and shot it, I learned all too quickly and that is when I learned to buy "quality". If you can't afford it, save up and buy it when you can. There are very few things in life you absolutely, positively must have right then and there. Had I known beforehand, I would have saved my money and bought something better. The dealer (who is out of business now), never even bothered to inform me otherwise and was more than happy to sell me that unreliable POS.

The only gun I know of that I will never buy is a Hi Point. It's not a bad shooter, but it's too hard to field strip.

The SW Sigma is a great gun. Sure it had bugs in the earlier models, but this has been nothing but a solid reliable shooter for me. Remember the first Glocks? Total POS!
