Ibtl! gecko 45, As far as your loadout goes, you need to think bigger. Way bigger. What if someone plows through the mall parking lot in an out of control vehicle? What then? What I'm trying to say is, you need anti-material capability. What if you need to bust through an engine block to eliminate the bad guys vehicular mobility? Your team needs a 50Cal rifle. Oh yeah, BTW, I also wanna know which dangerous mall you work at also, so I can steer clear.

I appreciate your concern, but please keep your advise directed toward my load out. I have already thought of vehicular threats and rest assured i have convinced my watch commander to begin construction on 1 1/2 foot thick steel reinforced concrete barriers. These will be low-profile and will be made to look like shrub planters, but will be able to withstand multiple armored car impacts at 60 mph due to being sunk over 11 feet into the ground.

I do not doubt that many malls will increasingly become the targets of terror attacks, due to the high concentration of people and safe atmosphere which is a perfect target. The only thing that stands between a nice sunday stroll through the mall on your way to Justin Beibers new movie and the kind of biblical carnage this country has never seen are people like me. People who devote their lives to the study of the way of the warrior. All there is to military science thunders in my head, while your worrying about what color panties to wear for the day, im scanning a thousand different people, looking for threats. I am constantly alert but keep my demeanor so low-key, you would never even realize im watching over you until its time to spring into action

why do you feel bad for people that go to malls unarmed? most malls don't even allow firearms, which makes your job all the more prevalent.........

Look, when I tell people I was in the Air Force and then describe to them what my unit and I did people often tell me "the Air Force doesn't do that." It annoys the hell out of me. People are completely clueless as to what the different services do and do not do - something that is constantly in flux by the way. So I sort of sympathize with this guy. Yes he might be full of it, but he might not. I certainly am not. Got the pictures, memories, orders, and facebook buddies from guys who were also there from those days to prove it.

So Gecko I see you've made a wise choice coming to the Calgun Community for advice. I recommend an HK416 with 10" barrels with at least 6 Beta C magazines and of course with full auto capabilities with suppressors. Suppressors are needed for silently taking down tangos without scarring shoppers.
