So we hit 300k views on this thread! Plus I've seen the info pasted around in other (not only CA) forums. Happy buying everyone while we still can.

I think there are SSE and transfer fees. I emailed them about the price of a CZ p07 on their site for $432 and if it included SSE and "Priscilla" said there's no extra charge for it. At best it's maybe $10 more than if I got it off an online retailer and in most cases the prices is actually lower. So it's best to let them get the gun as their prices are very reasonable or at least they are on some models.

Without reading this whole thread, what has to be done to SSE a revolver? Looking at getting the DW 715.

Conversion to single action only. A part or two need to be replaced or modified. Can be converted back later.

You don't have to read the whole thread. Everything you need to know is in the first two posts.

Don't forget the size requirements for the SAE.

Can a FFL purchase off roster handguns and keep them? Even if not an FFL anymore?

How about keeping the standard magazines they come with?

I've been seeing more and more dealers getting lazy and converting guns to sse with 25 auto barrels. do these guns function with the .25 round? are they being dros'd as a .25 cal? I've also seen a couple of shops dros guns as sse but never actually converted. I feel as though without self policing, this process of procuring firearms not on the roster will quickly go away. Unless the lawyers are able to defeat the roster in court

it's slated to go away anyway... unless Brown feels generous.
